We are seeking a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Education Marketing Advisor to help design, build, and scale our clinician education and engagement strategy. This role combines strategic advisory insight with hands-on execution, you’ll partner closely with our expert faculty to create and promote high-value peer-to-peer medical education content that drives engagement, trust, and professional collaboration.
The Advisor will bring a deep understanding of healthcare marketing, clinician engagement, and educational content development. You’ll help shape the framework for how our platform educates and empowers clinicians, while ensuring every initiative reflects medical integrity, strategic creativity, and measurable impact.
This is a remote, part-time advisory position offering equity-based compensation (advisor interest). It’s ideal for a professional with experience in medical education, life sciences marketing, or digital health who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to influence the future of peer-driven clinician learning.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Program Leadership
- Lead the design and execution of a peer-to-peer medical education strategy, beginning with dermatology and expanding across related therapeutic areas.
- Translate high-level goals into actionable plans for content creation, delivery, and engagement—including webinars, case discussions, expert panels, and short-form learning assets.
- Collaborate directly with expert faculty (starting with Dr. Peter Lio) to co-develop authentic, clinically relevant education that resonates with practicing clinicians.
- Develop a scalable model for future faculty and partner engagement, ensuring consistent educational quality and alignment with DermPro Connect’s mission to elevate care through expert peer connections.
Content & Campaign Development
- Guide the creation of evidence-based educational content for clinicians—articles, videos, short courses, and expert insights.
- Shape content marketing campaigns that promote new learning modules, highlight expert contributions, and encourage clinician participation.
- Ensure all content reflects scientific accuracy, balanced messaging, and educational value consistent with professional standards.
- Identify opportunities to repurpose high-performing content across digital channels (e.g., newsletters, webinars, LinkedIn, or platform highlights).
Marketing & Outreach
- Partner with the founder to craft compelling marketing strategies that grow clinician awareness and engagement with educational content.
- Help define messaging pillars, tone, and calls-to-action that position the platform as a trusted peer-learning destination.
- Provide guidance on social, email, and in-platform communication campaigns to promote educational activities.
- Use analytics and qualitative feedback to evaluate engagement and refine marketing tactics.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with the founder, expert faculty, and marketing team to ensure alignment across education, communication, and growth objectives.
- Act as a thought partner to the founding team on positioning, content priorities, and clinician engagement best practices.
- Mentor junior contributors or external partners involved in content creation, ensuring consistency and quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in healthcare marketing, medical education, or professional engagement—preferably in life sciences, digital health, or clinician-focused communication.
- Expertise: Strong background in peer-to-peer engagement, HCP marketing, and educational content strategy. Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) or medical faculty preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills. Able to distill complex clinical information into clear, engaging educational messages.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance creative marketing with evidence-based education, ensuring content both informs and inspires.
- Execution: Hands-on experience planning, producing, or managing clinician-facing educational materials (videos, slide decks, virtual events, or digital campaigns).
- Collaboration: Proven ability to partner with physicians, marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful educational experiences.
- Digital Savvy: Familiarity with digital platforms for professional education (e.g., Doximity, Medscape, LinkedIn Live, or similar).
- Integrity: Deep respect for compliance, medical accuracy, and educational independence in all communications.
Time Commitment & Compensation
- Time Commitment: Approximately 8–10 hours per week, flexible schedule. This reflects a typical advisor-level engagement for early-stage digital health companies.
- Compensation:Advisor Equity Interest — This position is equity-compensated rather than salaried. The selected advisor will receive a small equity allocation commensurate with expertise and contribution level, aligning success with DermPro Connect’s growth.
